Separated instrument retrieval is one of the most demanding procedures in endodontics. This advanced course provides a systematic, evidence-based approach to locating, exposing, and retrieving fractured instruments while preserving tooth structure. Through detailed clinical demonstrations and expert techniques, you will learn how to maximize retrieval success, minimize procedural complications, and confidently manage even the most challenging cases.
Prerequisite
This course is designed for clinicians who already have experience working with a dental operating microscope. Since instrument retrieval requires advanced microscopic visualization and precise hand-eye coordination, participants should be comfortable using a microscope in clinical practice before enrolling in this course.
Course Format
This course is delivered online as a private training program, allowing participants to learn at their own pace with personalized instruction. For those seeking a more customized learning experience, the course can also be conducted as a one-on-one private session upon request. Please note that one-on-one training is subject to a separate fee.
Dr. Kalantar Motamedi
Endodontist
He graduated in 2014 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and earned his specialty degree in Endodontics from Islamic Azad University, Isfahan, in 2020.
His research accomplishments include the publication of dozens of international scientific articles, presentations at professional congresses, and the translation of several academic books. He is also actively involved in professional education and has organized and delivered numerous continuing education courses for dental practitioners outside the university setting.
As a lecturer, he has had the privilege of sharing his expertise and insights with aspiring dentists and colleagues. Additionally, he has organized hands-on courses to provide practical training, enabling his colleagues to enhance their skills and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in endodontics.
Dr. Kalantar Motamedi has designed and developed a groundbreaking rotary file system called EZ-Shaper®. This innovative 3-file system adheares to the concept of conservative endodontics. Also, he has designed Sup-Path PRO® rotary system for minimally invasive endodontics.
